DBS, UOB latest banks to restrict access if unverified apps are found on customers' phones
Customers of DBS and UOB will have their access to mobile banking applications restricted if the presence of malicious apps on the device is detected. It's part of new anti-malware measures that are being progressively rolled out from this month to enhance customer protection. DBS and UOB join OCBC and Citibank in doing so, amid a spate of malware scams targeting Android devices.
